If you are having ongoing difficulties paying your SFAS loan you can request an amendment to your repayment plan. To do this you will need to send an email from your QUT student email account to the loans administrator on qut.studentloans@qut.edu.au.
Your email should include the following information:
- Name
- Student number
- Semester address
- Phone number
- Amount of original loan
- Date repayment in full is due
- Reason for requesting amendment
- Proposed amendment to repayment plan
Remember if you are having difficulties with maintaining your repayments you can make an appointment to see a Welfare Officer or International Student Advisor. They may be able to help you with budgeting and resources that will assist you to manage your money.
